Firing Feminine Power

 

Many women have tested their limits and go beyond it, these are just evidences that gender doesn’t measure one’s ability but the passion and the determination of a personality.

Julia Mae Gonzaga, a grade 9 student of Palo NHS, managed to conquer her fears and fight for her dream since she was a kid – to become a better and more confident person; besides, her father inspired her to join the thrilling taekwondo not only for fun and experience but also to protect herself.

She’s that single rose that always glow in the crowd but never wanted to be noticed that’s what people say; she may be simple in sight but little do they know the hidden talent that when it comes out her features roar.

Taekwondo is a known worldwide critical and difficult martial arts, some people think that it is just a waste of time but for players like Gonzaga, it is everything, likewise, it enhance their skills and ability when it comes to self-defences.

A lot of challenges and trials have faced her but she never give up, she still continue hear undying faith, Gonzaga, a yellow belter taekwondo player, grabbed the thrilling bronze spot in her first time fight in the lightweight division; her foes were already have a higher rank and they were veterans, however, she put her nerves down and held her head up high, showing that she is not just one of those newbies but a breath-taking person that can tremor the throng.

Leyte Provincial Meet 2018 have been one of the events that witnessed the firing feminine power that can battle with other athletes in the field of sport, therefore, sports is not just for boys, but an etiquette for women to become an individually competitive person.
