Strike, block, strike!

AGUITING, Kananga—Empowered with great determination, good body condition and, murderous attacks, Angelo Martinez, a grade 9 Arnisador, representing the Half-light Weight Division of Area one delegation during the Leyte Provincial Meet 2018 at Kananga, Leyte.

Heated with cheers and yells, Martinez enter the combat field wearing the shinning blue gear, twisting and striking his padded stick on to his feet, showing his eagerness and aggressiveness, that serves his mighty weapon in this nerve-breaking match with a veteran foe from Area 5-B that had more experience when it comes to Arnis combat.

With no fear, he shout with greatness and headlong to his opponent getting his body more nervous and electrifying to win the fight; sweats runs to his body as he moves quickly and strike intensely making his foe’s hand gear got misplaced.

Results with strong strikes, defensive blocks, and breath-taking fight, Martinez padded stick got damaged, fortunately, another padded stick was available and continue the fight—Martinez won the first round but got defeated in the second and third round.

“It was a really nice experienced for me as a first timer and I am very glad to represent my delegation”, uttered Martinez.

Thrilling fight between a veteran and a rookie have witnessed the Arnisador from different delegates have ended with a nice and fair fight.

“Try, try try, that’s the secret of success”, Martinez ended with a beamed face.
